Furniture with drawers can be utilized as storage places for pictures, knick-knacks, china, silverware, small items, etc. Wrap them in tablecloths, towels, or blankets to prevent breakage. Get creative in how you use what you currently have to store the smaller items in your home. If you do this it will not only reduce the size of your needed unit, but also save trips to the moving truck!
